How it works
Five steps, from a short call to a finished site in your name.
- A short call
We talk about your business and your clients, and what the site needs to do.
- A fixed-price proposal
I send a written proposal with one price, so you know the cost before anything starts.
- Deposit, then design and build
Once the deposit is in, I design the site and build it.
- Two rounds of revisions
You review the site and ask for changes, twice. The Starter package has one round.
- Launch and handoff
The site goes live, with your domain and accounts in your name.
I take on a limited number of projects at a time, so start dates are scheduled in advance.
Questions
What do you need from me?
Your writing and photos for each page, your logo if you have one, and time for a short call and two rounds of feedback.
With the Signature package, I help with the writing. You will also need accounts for your domain and hosting, in your name. I can walk you through setting them up.
Who owns the site?
You do. Your domain and hosting are in accounts in your name, from the start.
If you choose the Managed care plan, I host the site for you. If you leave, your site and domain are handed over to you.
What happens after launch?
The site is yours to run. If you would rather not think about updates and backups, there are two optional care plans: Essentials and Managed.
Either way, I'm here if you need help.
How long does a site take?
As a rough guide: Starter takes 2–4 weeks, Launch 3–7 weeks, and Signature 5–9 weeks.
The clock starts once I have your writing and photos. Your proposal gives your actual schedule.
Ready for the first step?
It starts with a short note about your business. I reply personally.
